Validation of the Transport card
To validate the transport ticket, you need to place the travel card on the reader disk of the validator and withdraw it after the message “Have a nice trip”/ „Călătorie plăcută” appears (after about 2-3 seconds).
If the message “Repeat validation at the same validator”/ „Repetați validarea la același validator” appears, it means that the information on the travel card has not been read completely and a reading error has occurred. Therefore, it is important to follow the indication on the screen and validate the card again, but at the same machine.
When re-validating, the e-reader goes through the information and completes the process, and the message “Card already validated”/ „Card deja validat” appears on the screen.
If the subscription has expired and the e-Wallet does not have enough credit to pay for the trip, you will be warned with the following message: „Ne pare rău, nu aveți titlu de călătorie valabil”/ “Sorry, you do not have a valid travel ticket”.
Card checking
Because situations arise where you no longer know the expiration date of the ticket or subscription or how much credit is left in the electronic wallet, you have the possibility of checking the data on the travel card.
Card check on old validators (located in all vehicles except Otokar and Mercedes Citaro hybrid buses, which have new validators):
You need to press the button marked with the number 1, then place the card on the disk reader. On the screen you will see all the information scrolling and at the end the message “Remove card”/ „Retrageți cardul”.

You need to press the button marked with the “i” sign, then place the card on the disk reader. On the screen you will see all the information scrolling and at the end the message “Remove card”/ ”Retrageți cardul”.
At the same time, at any sales unit of the operator STB SA (Societatea de Transport Bucharest) you can request, free of charge, a consultation of your card.
Multiple Validation
The charging system allows you to pay for the trips of other people accompanying you using the e-wallet you own.
Thus, after validating the transport title for you (the subscription or the equivalent value of a trip from the electronic wallet), press the button marked with the figure 2 and perform a new validation for the person accompanying you.
And so on, for each person in the group, press the button marked with the number 2 and validate. But only to the same validator! At the end of each successful operation, you will receive the message “Have a nice trip!”/ „Călătorie plăcută!”.
Careful!
If the card is not loaded with a travel document and is close to the validator, the validator displays the message “Sorry, you do not have a valid travel document”/ „Ne pare rău, nu aveți titlu de călătorie valabil” and simultaneously emits a long beep accompanied by a red light signal.
If the already validated card is close to the validation equipment, the validator displays the message “Card already validated”/ “Card deja validat” and simultaneously emits a short sound signal and a green light signal.
When the card does not interact with the validator for a sufficient time, the processing of the information on the card is not completed, and the validator displays the message “Repeat validation at the same validator”/ „Repetați validarea la același validator” and simultaneously emits a long beep accompanied by a red light signal.
