Validation of the Transport Ticket

For the validation of the transport ticket, you need to place the travel card on the reader disc of the validator and remove it after the message “Enjoy your trip” appears (in about 2-3 seconds).

If the message “Repeat validation at the same validator” appears, it means that the information on the travel card was not fully read and there was a reading error. Therefore, it is important to follow the instruction displayed on the screen and validate the card again, but on the same machine.

Upon repeating the validation, the electronic reader will process the information and complete the process, and the screen will show the message “Card already validated.”

If the subscription has expired and the Electronic Wallet does not have enough credit for the journey payment, you will be notified with the following message: “Sorry, you do not have a valid travel ticket.”

      Card Consultation

In case you are unsure about the expiration date of your ticket or subscription, or how much credit remains in your electronic wallet, you have the option to consult the information on the travel card.

Consulting the card on old validators (found in all vehicles, except for the Otokar buses and Mercedes Citaro hybrid buses, which have new validators):

You must press the button marked with the number 1, then place the card on the reader disc. The screen will display all the information scrolling, and at the end, the message “Remove card” will appear.

         Card Consultation on New Validators (available on Otokar and Mercedes Citaro hybrid buses):

You must press the button marked with the “i” symbol, then place the card on the reader disc. The screen will display all the information scrolling, and at the end, the message “Remove card” will appear.

Additionally, at any sales unit of the STB SA operator (Bucharest Transport Company), you can request, free of charge, a consultation of your card.

           Multiple Validation

The fare system allows you to pay for the journeys of other people accompanying you, using the electronic wallet you hold.

After validating your own transport title (the subscription or the cost of a trip from the electronic wallet), press the button marked with the number 2 and perform a new validation for the person accompanying you.

Repeat this process for each person in your group: press the button marked with the number 2 and validate. But only at the same validator! After each successful operation, you will receive the message “Have a pleasant journey!”

         Attention!

If the card is not loaded with a transport title and is brought close to the validator, the validator will display the message “Sorry, you do not have a valid travel title” and will emit a prolonged sound signal, along with a red light signal.

If the already validated card is brought close to the validator, the message “Card already validated” will appear on the validator, accompanied by a short sound signal and a green light signal.

If the card does not interact with the validator for a sufficient amount of time, the information processing from the card is not completed, and the validator will display the message “Please repeat validation at the same validator” with a prolonged sound signal and a red light signal.
