European Mobility Week – Bucharest-Ilfov 2024

The European Mobility Week is an annual campaign organized with the support of the European Commission, which encourages European municipalities to implement and promote measures for sustainable transport. It also provides citizens with the opportunity to try alternatives to car use, thereby contributing to the reduction of pollution and the improvement of quality of life.

The theme “Shared Public Space” has been chosen to emphasize the importance of managing public space in an equitable and responsible manner. It highlights the need to create urban environments where everyone, including pedestrians and cyclists, can move safely and comfortably. The events organized by TPBI and its partners aim to encourage communities to collectively decide how to use public spaces to ensure equitable access and promote sustainable mobility.
