Authorizations and Licenses
The National Authority for Regulation of Public Services (A.N.R.S.C.) has accredited the Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest – Ilfov to carry out its legal responsibilities in the field of local public transport services, through the Metropolitan Transport Authority within the Association.
(Authorization No. 0384 from 06.03.2018).
The Metropolitan Transport Authority is organized and operates to implement the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2007, concerning public passenger transport services by rail and road, and repealing Council Regulations (EEC) No. 1191/69 and No. 1107/70, as well as applicable national legislation.
Within its area of competence, the Metropolitan Transport Authority:
- Authorizes the public local transport service operated by trolleybuses and trams, by issuing transport authorizations.
- Authorizes the public local transport service carried out by buses, by issuing route licenses.
