Works for the construction of Metro Line M6: route of line 403 – modified in the direction towards “Piața Presei,” and the “Primăria Otopeni” station – relocated

Starting Saturday, 21.06.2025, buses on line 403 will run on a modified route in the direction towards “Piața Presei,” due to the closure of the connection between 23 August Street and National Road 1, for the construction works of Metro Line M6.

According to the provisions of the Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest – Ilfov (TPBI), line 403 will operate, between “Vadu Anei” and “Piața Presei,” on the basic route up to the intersection of 23 August Street / Otopeni Train Station Street, then on Otopeni Train Station Street, Horea Street, Cloșca Street, and Crișan Street, Otopeni Passage ramp exiting towards Bucharest Municipality, Bucharest-Ploiești Road up to the terminus “Piața Presei,” near the Wings monument.

In the opposite direction, the route of line 403 will not be modified.

Also, to allow the works on Metro Line M6 to proceed, the “Primăria Otopeni” station (serving lines 100, 441, 441B, 442, 443, 443B, 444, 446, 447, 447B, 448, 477), located in the Otopeni locality, on DN 1 (Bucharest Road), in the direction towards Bucharest Municipality, will be relocated approximately 100 m closer to the Capital, the measure coming into effect on Friday, 20.06.2025 (from 10:00 PM).
