TPBI provides the general public with an interactive map, as an alternative to similar platforms, available at maps.mo-bi.ro. Its purpose is to contribute to improving mobility in the Bucharest–Ilfov region.

In the previous episode, we showed you how to access the map of metropolitan train services and stations—both existing and proposed—on the platform maps.mo-bi.ro. This time, we’ll focus on other public data, in open format, made available exclusively by TPBI.

Let’s start with bus depots. As you can see, there are two map layers showing depots, based on their location. The ones within the city of Bucharest appear as dark blue icons and belong to the Bucharest Transport Company (STB SA). The light blue icons represent bus depots in Ilfov County, which belong to other operators: Voluntari Transport Service (STV SA), Ecotrans STCM, and Regio Serv Transport.

Moving on to tram depots, these are only found in the capital and are operated by STB SA. The icons on the map provide information about the names of the depots and their level of modernization.

As for the public transport network, it is displayed on the maps.mo-bi.ro platform in the “Vehicle Network” layer, where all tram, trolleybus, and bus lines are shown. For those specifically interested in electric vehicles, there are two additional layers: “Tram Network” and “Trolleybus Network.”
