To allow the consolidation works on the slab of Unirii Square and following the restriction of road traffic on Independenței Embankment (the section between United Nations Square towards Unirii Square), the Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest – Ilfov (TPBI) is reorganizing the public transport lines in the area. Starting Saturday, 21.06.2025, bus lines 104, 123, 205, 385, N110, and N115 will be modified as follows:
Line 104 will operate on the basic route between the terminus “Opera Square” and the intersection Independenței Embankment / United Nations Boulevard (United Nations Square), then through United Nations Square, United Nations Boulevard, Libertății Boulevard, Constitution Square, Unirii Boulevard, crossing through the fountain area in Unirii Square, Unirii Boulevard, then the current route. The other direction is not modified.
Line 123 will operate on the basic route between the terminus “North Railway Station” and the intersection Independenței Embankment / United Nations Boulevard (United Nations Square), then through United Nations Square, United Nations Boulevard, Libertății Boulevard, Constitution Square, Unirii Boulevard, crossing through the fountain area in Unirii Square, Unirii Boulevard, then the current route. The other direction is not modified.
Line 205 will operate on the basic route between the terminus “M Străulești” and the intersection Independenței Embankment / United Nations Boulevard (United Nations Square), then through United Nations Square, United Nations Boulevard, Libertății Boulevard, Constitution Square, Unirii Boulevard, terminus “Unirii Square 2”. The other direction is not modified.
Line 385 will operate on the basic route between the terminus “Valea Oltului” and the intersection United Nations Boulevard / Libertății Boulevard, then on Libertății Boulevard, Constitution Square, Unirii Boulevard, I.C. Brătianu Boulevard, Corneliu Coposu Boulevard, terminus “Saint Friday Square”. The other direction is not modified.
Line N110 will operate on the basic route between the terminus “Giulești Neighborhood” and the intersection Independenței Embankment / United Nations Boulevard (United Nations Square), then through United Nations Square, United Nations Boulevard, Libertății Boulevard, Constitution Square, Unirii Boulevard, terminus “Unirii Square 2”. The other direction is not modified.
Line N115 will operate on the basic route between the terminus “Iuliu Maniu Technical College” and the intersection Independenței Embankment / United Nations Boulevard (United Nations Square), then through United Nations Square, United Nations Boulevard, Libertății Boulevard, Constitution Square, Unirii Boulevard, terminus “Unirii Square 2”. The other direction is not modified.
On Unirii Boulevard, the section between Constitution Square and Unirii Square, buses of lines 104, 123, 205, 385, N110, and N115 will run on the dedicated public transport lane and will stop at the new stations “Constitution Square” and “Unirii Square.” Also, on United Nations Boulevard and Libertății Boulevard, vehicles will stop at the newly established stations: “United Nations Boulevard” and “Palace of the Parliament,” respectively.
Also, as a result of the works on the Unirii slab, lines 73, 100, 116, 117, 312, 323, N101, N102, N103, N104, N105, N106, N107, N108, N109, N111, N112, N113, N114, N116, N117, N118, N119, N120, N121, and N122 will operate, from Saturday, June 21, starting at the intersection I.C. Brătianu Boulevard / Corneliu Coposu Boulevard, on the newly created ramp through Unirii Park, towards the station “Unirii Square 1.”
