To ensure transportation for participants at the “Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition,” held between August 29–31, 2025, at Bucharest Băneasa International Airport – “Aurel Vlaicu” and Romaero, the Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest – Ilfov (TPBI) will establish a shuttle bus line during those days, designated as route 737, and will also increase the number of vehicles operating on route 605.
The 737 shuttle line will provide a fast connection between “Băneasa Airport” (the terminus of line 605) and Piața Victoriei, running on the following route: “Băneasa Airport”, Grațioasă Street, Aerogării Blvd., Băneasa Underpass, Nicolae G. Caramfil Street, Beijing Blvd., Aviatorilor Blvd., “Piața Victoriei”, and back.
On the way to Piața Victoriei, buses will stop at: “Băneasa Airport”, “Piața Băneasa”, “Hotel Phoenicia”, and “Piața Victoriei”. In the opposite direction, stops will be: “Piața Victoriei”, “Piața Charles de Gaulle”, “Apicola”, “Piața Băneasa”, and “Băneasa Airport”.
Mercedes-Benz Citaro Hybrid buses will operate on the 737 shuttle line. In addition to the route number, they will display an airplane icon on the front sign.
TPBI notes that all metropolitan travel tickets are valid on the 737 shuttle line.
Those wishing to attend the “Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition” can also use bus route 605 (Piața Sfânta Vineri – Băneasa Airport), which will have an increased fleet on Saturday, August 30, 2025 (between 09:00–22:30), and Sunday, August 31 (between 09:00–17:00).
The Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest – Ilfov (TPBI) will also be present at the “Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition”, alongside the Romanian Smart City Association (ARSC), with a dedicated booth where visitors can learn more about ongoing projects and initiatives in the field of sustainable urban mobility.
