Spectators attending the retirement match of handball player Cristina Neagu, scheduled for Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 16:00 at the Sala Polivalentă in Bucharest, will have access to a temporary transport line – line 8 – which will connect Pasajul Mihai Bravu and Piața Victoriei.

On the occasion of the athlete’s final game—Cristina Neagu, a four-time world’s best handball player— the Bucharest-Ilfov Public Transport Intercommunity Development Association (TPBI) has decided to set up a shuttle bus line, designated line 8, to facilitate the public’s travel from the city center to the Sala Polivalentă area and back.

The shuttle buses on line 8 will operate on Sunday, June 8, between 11:00 and 19:30, at intervals of 15-20 minutes, along the following route: “Pasaj Mihai Bravu,” Calea Văcărești, Bd. Tineretului, Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, Piața Unirii, Bd. I. C. Brătianu, Bd. Nicolae Bălcescu, Bd. General Gheorghe Magheru, Bd. Lascăr Catargiu, Piața Victoriei, Bd. Lascăr Catargiu, station “Piața Victoriei,” returning via Bd. Lascăr Catargiu, Bd. General Gheorghe Magheru, Bd. Nicolae Bălcescu, Bd. I. C. Brătianu, Strada Halelor, Piața Unirii, Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, Bd. Tineretului, Calea Văcărești, “Pasaj Mihai Bravu.”

The first departure of the line 8 vehicles will be at 11:00 from the “Piața Victoriei” station, and the last one at 19:30 from “Pasaj Mihai Bravu.”
