Tram traffic on lines 25 and 41 will be interrupted on Saturday, 21.06.2025, and Sunday, 22.06.2025, due to the execution of works on the track on Timișoara Boulevard, at the intersection with Brașov Street. To assist passengers, the Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest – Ilfov (TPBI) will establish during this period tram line 12 and shuttle bus lines 625 and 641.
Thus, tram line 12 will operate between the terminals “CFR Progresul” and “Gara Basarab” on the route: “C.F.R. Progresul”, Giurgiului Road, Viilor Road, Doctor Constantin Istrati Street, Progresului Street, Timișoara Boulevard, General Paul Teodorescu Boulevard, Doina Cornea Boulevard, Orhideelor Road, “Gara Basarab” and return.
The section of line 25 between “Depoul Militari” and Danny Huwe Square will be covered by shuttle bus line 625, which will operate on the route: terminal “Depoul Militari”, Preciziei Street, Valea Cascadelor Street, Timișoara Boulevard, Drumul Sării, “Drumul Sării” stop, returning on Drumul Sării, Drumul Taberei, General Paul Teodorescu Boulevard, Timișoara Boulevard, Valea Cascadelor Street, Preciziei Street, terminal “Depoul Militari”.
Shuttle line 641 will fully cover the route of line 41, with buses running from “Piața Presei” on Mărăști Boulevard, Mareșal Alexandru Averescu Boulevard, Turda Street, Grant Passage, Crângași Road, Virtuții Road, Lujerului Passage, Brașov Street, Ghencea Boulevard, “Ghencea” terminal and return. On the section between Montreal Square and Ion Mihalache Boulevard, line 641 buses will run on the tram track and will stop at tram platforms.
We mention that on June 21 and 22, 2025, during the operation of shuttle line 641, metropolitan bus line 426 will also stop and wait at platform 4 of the “Ghencea” terminal, shared with lines 421 and 424.
