Integrated Metropolitan Pass Surface Transport + Metro + Train

Passengers travelling within the Bucharest-Ilfov region can now use a single transport pass that includes unlimited transfers between surface public transport (bus, trolley and tram), underground metro and the railway train connecting Otopeni International Airport to the North Railway Station.

The integrated metropolitan pass valid on all transport networks is available in five options:

• Tourist Travel Pass – valid for 24 or 72 hours
• Integrated Metropolitan Pass – valid for 1 / 6 / 12 months

Where can they be purchased?

24 / 72 Tourist Travel Passes:  

• can be bought on single-use cards at the ticket offices operated by all transport carriers:  STB SA, Metrorex SA, CFR Călători SA and Transferoviar Călători SRL;
• can be loaded on pre-existing cards at the ticket offices operated by STB SA or Metrorex SA.

1 / 6 / 12 months Integrated Metropolitan Passes:

• can be purchased or loaded on pre-existing cards at the ticket offices operated by STB SA or Metrorex SA.

How much do the new travel passes cost?

The new type of integrated metropolitan pass is a pilot project; currently valid only on the rail route connecting the Otopeni International Airport to the North Railway Station. Together with our partners – The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Societatea de Transport București (STB SA), Metrorex SA, CFR Călători SA and Transferoviar Călători SRL, we intend to extend this pass to include future metropolitan train routes, which are currently being planned.
