Buses on lines 205 and 311 will operate on modified routes every weekend between April 12, 2025, and October 12, 2025, due to the implementation of the “Open Streets – Bucharest, Urban Promenade” project by the Bucharest City Hall. To accommodate cultural and artistic events, traffic will be restricted on Calea Victoriei, between Victoriei Square and Splaiul Independenței, every Saturday and Sunday during the specified period, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 PM. On April 19, 20, 27, 2025, May 3, 4, 17, 18, 2025, June 7, 2025, August 31, 2025, and October 4, 2025, the restrictions will be in place throughout the entire day. On May 11, 2025, September 21, 2025, and October 12, 2025, restrictions will only apply between 09:00 AM and 02:00 PM.
As a result, according to the Bucharest-Ilfov Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport (TPBI), during the traffic restrictions, the following changes will be made to bus lines 205 and 311:

Line 205 will operate on its regular route between the “Străulești Metro Station” terminal and Victoriei Square, then will be diverted toward Unirii Square via Lascăr Catargiu Blvd., Gheorghe Magheru Blvd., Nicolae Bălcescu Blvd., I.C. Brătianu Blvd., Halelor Street, and the “Unirii Square 2” terminal. The route in the opposite direction will remain unchanged.

Line 311 will operate between the “Faur” terminal and the intersection of Nicolae Bălcescu Blvd. / Dem I Dobrescu Street, then will be diverted on Nicolae Bălcescu Blvd., making a turnaround on C. A. Rosetti Street, Maria Rosetti Street, and then resuming the current route. The route in the opposite direction will remain unchanged.
