The cycling event “L’Etape Bucharest by Tour de France” modifies 37 public transport lines, temporarily suspends another four, and establishes four shuttle lines

The Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest – Ilfov (TPBI) has ordered the modification of 38 public transport lines, the temporary suspension of four other lines, and the creation of four shuttle bus lines, to allow the conduct of the “L’Etape Bucharest by Tour de France” cycling event, scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, starting at 08:00, in the center of the Capital.

Thus, lines 63, N101, N110, and N115 will operate on modified routes as follows:

On the evening of Saturday, 30.08.2025, due to circulation restrictions imposed by the arrangement of the start zones in Piața Constituției, line 63 will operate, beginning at 20:00 until withdrawal, on the base route between the “Master” terminal and the intersection Bd. Libertății / the ramp of the Prosecutor’s Office of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, then on a modified route in the Pod Izvor direction, via the ramp of the Prosecutor’s Office of the High Court, the ramp of the Ministry of Finance, Bd. Libertății, and then the current route. The opposite direction will not be changed.

For the same reason, the night lines N101, N110, and N115 will operate as follows:

  • Line N101 will run the night of 30/31.08.2025 on its base route between the “Valea Oltului” terminal and the intersection Calea 13 Septembrie / Bd. Libertății, then on a modified route in both directions via Bd. Libertății, Bd. Regina Maria, and the Piața Unirii roundabout.

  • Line N110 will run the night of 30/31.08.2025 on its current route between the “Cartier Giulești” terminal and the intersection Bd. Libertății / Bd. Unirii (Piața Constituției), then on a modified route in the Piața Unirii direction via Bd. Libertății, Bd. Regina Maria, and the Piața Unirii roundabout. The opposite direction will not change.

  • Line N115 will run the night of 30/31.08.2025 on its current route between the “Colegiul Tehnic Iuliu Maniu” terminal and the intersection Bd. Libertății / Bd. Unirii (Piața Constituției), then on a modified route in the Piața Unirii direction via Bd. Libertății, Bd. Regina Maria, and the Piața Unirii roundabout. The opposite direction will not change.

On Sunday, 31.08.2025, from the start of operations until the resumption of road circulation, public transport lines in the zones where the cycling event occurs will be modified, under the order of the Traffic Police Brigade (with the exception of lines 66, 69, 70, and 85, which will operate on shortened routes to Piața Rosetti for the entire day, or after 14:00, as appropriate). Accordingly:

  • Line 1 will be suspended until around 14:00.

  • Line 10 will operate until the resumption of circulation on its current route, between terminus “Romprim” and “Banu Manta,” with a turnaround via Bd. Iancu de Hunedoara, Șos. Ștefan cel Mare, Șos. Mihai Bravu, Piața Iancului (where trams will turn around via Șos. Mihai Bravu, Șos. Ștefan cel Mare, Bd. Iancu de Hunedoara, Pasaj Victoria, Șos. Nicolae Titulescu, Pasaj Basarab, Bd. Doina Cornea, Bd. General Paul Teodorescu, Bd. Timișoara, Șos. Progresului, Str. Dr. Istrati, Șos. Viilor, Șos. Olteniței).

  • Line 19 will operate until resumption of circulation between “Bd. Theodor Pallady” and “Zețarilor” via Bd. Theodor Pallady, Bd. 1 Decembrie 1918, Str. Liviu Rebreanu, Bd. Camil Ressu, Șos. Mihai Bravu, Calea Vitan, Bd. Octavian Goga, Pasaj Mărășești, Bd. Mărășești, Str. Dr. Constantin Istrati, Șos. Viilor, Șos. Giurgiului, Str. Anghel Alexandru, Str. Zețarilor, terminal “Zețarilor.”

  • Line 44 will operate until circulation is resumed on a shortened route between the “Cartier Giulești” terminal and “Gara Basarab”.

  • Line 61 will operate until circulation resumes on a shortened route between “Complex Apusului” and Piața Operei, where its trolleybuses will turn at Opera Bridge. After traffic resumes, the trolleybuses will turn at Piața Rosetti using battery/autonomy on Bd. Carol I between Piața Universității and Piața Rosetti.

  • Line 63 will operate until circulation resumes on its base route between the “Master” terminal and the intersection Calea 13 Septembrie / Bd. Libertății, then on a modified route in both directions via Bd. Libertății, turning in the Piața Regina Maria roundabout.

  • Line 66 will operate all day on its base route between terminal “Spitalul Fundeni” and “Piața Rosetti,” turning via Str. Dianei, Str. Jean Louis Calderon, Str. Tudor Arghezi, Bd. Carol I, then the current route.

  • Line 69 will operate all day on a shortened route between terminal “Valea Argeșului” and “Piața Operei.”

  • Line 70 will be suspended until around 14:00, then resume between terminal “Bd. Basarabia” and “Piața Rosetti,” with a turnaround via Str. Dianei, Str. Jean Louis Calderon, Str. Tudor Arghezi, Bd. Carol I, then current route.

  • Line 73 will operate until circulation resumes on a shortened route between “Piața de Gros” and the entrance to Piața Unirii, turning at the “Piața Unirii” stop located on Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir after its intersection with Str. Bibescu Vodă, in the Bd. Tineretului direction.

  • Line 85 will operate all day on its base route between terminal “Baicului” and “Piața Rosetti,” turning via Str. Dianei, Str. Jean Louis Calderon, Str. Tudor Arghezi, Bd. Carol I, then current route.

  • Lines 86 and 90 will be suspended until around 14:00.

  • Line 97 will operate until circulation resumes on its current route between terminal “Clăbucet” and the intersection Calea Griviței / Șos. Nicolae Titulescu, then on a modified route via the ramp of Șos. Nicolae Titulescu, Șos. Nicolae Titulescu, via Pasajul Victoria, Bd. Iancu de Hunedoara, Calea Dorobanți, Bd. Dacia, Str. Traian, Str. Iancu Cavaler de Flondor, Bd. Pache Protopopescu, Str. Matei Voievod, Șos. Mihai Bravu via Pasajul Muncii, Șos. Mihai Bravu, Calea Dudești, Bd. Octavian Goga, Pasaj Mărășești, Bd. Mărășești, Bd. General Gheorghe Magheru, Bd. Nicolae Bălcescu, Bd. I. C. Brătianu, through Pasajul Unirii, Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, Bd. Mărășești, Str. 11 Iunie, Bd. Regina Maria, Str. Bibescu Vodă, returning via Splaiul Unirii, Bd. Mărășești, Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, through Pasajul Unirii, Bd. I.C. Brătianu, Bd. Nicolae Bălcescu, then current route.

  • Line 102 will operate on its base between “Complex Pantelimon” and Piața Titan, then on a modified route in both directions via Bd. Nicolae Grigorescu, the Nicolae Grigorescu overpass, Str. Iuliu Hațieganu, Șos. Vitan Bârzești, then current route.

  • Line 104 will operate on its base between “Complex Pantelimon” and the intersection Str. Vatra Luminoasă / Șos. Mihai Bravu, then on a modified route in both directions via Șos. Mihai Bravu (via Pasajul Muncii), Șos. Mihai Bravu, Calea Dudești, Bd. Octavian Goga, via Pasajul Mărășești, Bd. Mărășești, Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, via Pasajul Unirii, Bd. I. C. Brătianu, Piața Universității, Bd. Carol I, up to “Piața Rosetti”.

  • Line 116 will operate on a shortened route between “Gara Progresul” and the entrance of Piața Unirii, turning at the “Piața Unirii” stop located on Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir after its intersection with Str. Bibescu Vodă, toward Bd. Tineretului.

  • Line 117 will operate on its base route between terminal “Cartier Confort Urban” and Piața Unirii, where it will turn from Bd. Regina Maria via Str. Bibescu Vodă, Piața Unirii, Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, Bd. Mărășești, Str. 11 Iunie, Bd. Regina Maria, then the base route.

  • Line 122 will operate on its base between terminal “Pasaj Domnești” and the intersection Bd. Eroilor / Splaiul Independenței (Pod Eroilor), then on a modified route via Splaiul Independenței, Cotroceni Bridge, Splaiul Independenței, Bd. Eroilor, then base route.

  • Line 123 will operate on its base between “C.E.T. Sud Vitan” and the intersection Calea Vitan / Calea Dudești / Bd. Octavian Goga, then on a modified route (both directions) via Bd. Octavian Goga, Pasaj Mărășești, Bd. Mărășești, Str. 11 Iunie, Bd. Regina Maria, Bd. George Coșbuc, Bd. Tudor Vladimirescu, Șos. Panduri, Str. Prof. Dr. Rainer, Bd.   • Line 168 will operate on its base between “Valea Ialomiței” and the intersection Bd. Eroilor / Splaiul Independenței (Pod Eroilor), then on a modified route via Splaiul Independenței, Opera Bridge, turning via Splaiul Independenței, Pod Eroilor, Bd. Eroilor, then base route.

  • Line 178 will function between terminal “Complex Apusului” and the intersection Bd. Dinicu Golescu / Str. Witting, then on a modified route via Str. Witting, Calea Plevnei, Str. Mircea Vulcănescu, turning via Bd. Dinicu Golescu, Șos. Orhideelor, then base route.

  • Line 203 will operate on its base between terminal “Cartier Greenfield” and the Piața Presei roundabout, where its buses will turn together with lines 261 and 304.

  • Line 205 will operate on its base between terminal “Străulești” and Piața Presei roundabout, turning together with lines 261 and 304.

  • Line 223 will serve from “Universitatea Creștină Dimitrie Cantemir” terminal on a modified route from the intersection Splaiul Unirii / Bucharest Ring Road (DNCB), via DNCB, Str. Libertății, Str. Uzinei, Bd. Theodor Pallady, Bd. Nicolae Grigorescu, via the Nicolae Grigorescu overpass, Str. Iuliu Hațieganu, Șos. Vitan Bârzești, Șos. Olteniței, Calea Văcărești, Bd. Gheorghe Șincai, Splaiul Unirii, to terminal “Universitatea Creștină Dimitrie Cantemir”. The opposite direction will not change.

  • Line 226 will operate on its base between “Depoul Alexandria” and the intersection Bd. Eroilor / Splaiul Independenței (Pod Eroilor), then on a modified route via Splaiul Independenței, Opera Bridge, turning via Splaiul Independenței, Pod Eroilor, Bd. Eroilor, then base route.

  • Line 243 will operate between terminal “CFR Constanța” and the Nicolae Grigorescu overpass, then on a modified route (both directions) via the overpass, Str. Iuliu Hațieganu, then current route.

  • Line 311 will operate between “Faur” and the intersection Bd. Nicolae Bălcescu / Str. Dem I. Dobrescu, then on a modified route via Bd. Nicolae Bălcescu, turning via Str. C. A. Rosetti, Str. Maria Rosetti, then current route.

  • Line 312 will operate between “Arcade Berceni” and the intersection Calea Văcărești / Șos. Mihai Bravu (Pasajul Mihai Bravu), then on a modified route via Calea Văcărești, Bd. Tineretului, Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, turning via Splaiul Unirii, Calea Văcărești, then current route.

  • Line 323 will operate on a shortened route between terminal “Zețarilor” and terminal “Universitatea Creștină Dimitrie Cantemir.”

  • Line 368 will operate on its base between “Valea Oltului” and the intersection Bd. Eroilor / Splaiul Independenței (Pod Eroilor), then on a modified route via Splaiul Independenței, Opera Bridge, turning via Splaiul Independenței, Pod Eroilor, Bd. Eroilor, then base route.

  • Line 381 will operate on its base between terminal “Piața Reșița” and Piața Romană, then on a modified route via Bd. Dacia, Str. Polonă, Șos. Ștefan cel Mare, Bd. Iancu de Hunedoara, via Pasajul Victoriei, Șos. Nicolae Titulescu, Str. Dr. Felix, Bd. Ion Mihalache, to terminal “Clăbucet,” returning via Calea Griviței, Str. Clăbucet, Bd. Ion Mihalache, Str.   • Line 385 will operate on its base between “Valea Oltului” and the intersection Str. Izvor / Calea 13 Septembrie, then on a modified route via Calea 13 Septembrie, Bd. Libertății, Bd. Regina Maria, Str. Bibescu Vodă, to Piața Unirii (terminus of line 100), turning via Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir, Bd. Mărășești, Str. 11 Iunie, Bd. Regina Maria, Bd.   • Line 640 will operate between terminal “Bd. Basarabia” and intersection Bd. Basarabia / Bd. Chișinău, then on a modified route (both directions) via Bd. Chișinău, Șos. Pantelimon, Șos. Iancului, Bd. Pache Protopopescu, Str. Traian, Calea Călărași, Str. Sf. Vineri, “Piața Sfânta Vineri,” turning via Str. Sfânta Vineri, Bd. Mircea Vodă, Calea Călărași, Str. Traian, Bd. Pache Protopopescu, Șos. Iancului, Șos. Pantelimon, Bd. Chișinău, Bd. Basarabia, then current route.

  • The tourist line will run between terminal “Piața Presei” and the Piața Universității roundabout, both directions, via Bd. Regele Mihai I, Bd. Mareșal Constantin Prezan, Bd. Aviatorilor, Bd. Lascăr Catargiu, Bd. Gheorghe Magheru, Bd. Nicolae Bălcescu, and Piața Universității.

To serve passengers affected by the suspension of trolleybus routes, the following shuttle lines will be established:

  • Shuttle line 601 will operate from the park departure until the resumption of lines 1 and 10, between the “Romprim” terminal and the Bucur Obor roundabout via Șos. Olteniței (with bidirectional travel on the tram track between Romprim and the “Lunca Bârzești” stop), Calea Văcărești, via Pasajul Mihai Bravu, Șos. Mihai Bravu (entering the tram track at the intersection Șos. Mihai Bravu / Calea Vitan), then sharing route with line 135 through Pasajul Muncii (exiting the tram track together with line 330 at intersection Șos. Mihai Bravu / Bd. Ferdinand), turning at the roundabout at the intersection Șos. Mihai Bravu / Șos. Colentina / Șos. Ștefan cel Mare (Bucur Obor roundabout), then on Șos. Mihai Bravu (entering tram track at intersection Șos. Mihai Bravu / Bd. Ferdinand, then shared with line 135 through Pasajul Muncii, exiting tram track at intersection Șos. Mihai Bravu / Calea Vitan), via Pasajul Mihai Bravu, Calea Văcărești, Șos. Olteniței (entering tram track at the intersection Șos. Olteniței / Intrarea Nețea).

    On Șos. Mihai Bravu, between Calea Vitan and Pasajul Mihai Bravu, buses will stop at the former stops of line 223 (Peneș Curcanul in both directions and Calea Vitan on the direction toward Piața Sudului).

  • Shuttle line 670 will operate from park departure until trolleybuses of line 70 resume (around 14:00), between the “Bd. Basarabia” terminal and the “Baba Novac” stop via Str. Lucrețiu Pătrășcanu, Str. Constantin Brâncuși, Str. Baba Novac, Șos. Mihai Bravu, turning at the Baba Novac roundabout.

  • Shuttle line 690 will operate from park departure until line 90’s trolleybuses resume (around 14:00), along line 90’s current route between “M Petrache Poenaru” and Opera Bridge, turning via Splaiul Independenței, then current route.

  • Shuttle line 691 will operate from park departure until line 90’s trolleybuses resume (around 14:00), along line 90’s base route between terminal “Arena Națională” and Piața Universității, turning at the roundabout.
