Project Title: Renewal of the Public Transport Vehicle Fleet through the Acquisition of 22 Zero-Emission or Battery-Powered Trolleybuses

Implementation Period: 28.11.2022 – 30.06.2026

Description:

The project aims to acquire 22 new trolleybuses, in addition to the 100 already purchased through the Environmental Fund. This investment will enable the trolleybus network to operate at full capacity while ensuring an operational reserve for unforeseen situations such as malfunctions, emergencies, or special events.

The new trolleybuses, with zero emissions and electric propulsion, will contribute to reducing pollution and improving air quality. Additionally, the exclusive use of electricity from renewable sources strengthens the sustainable character of this investment.

Project Budget: 71.500.000,00 RON (excluding VAT), of which 55.254.353,88 RON (excluding VAT) is non-reimbursable funding, and 16.245.646,12 RON (excluding VAT) is the beneficiary’s contribution.
