ACTIV Card is an electronic medium on which one or more travel tickets can be loaded, depending on the fare offer and travel needs.

Nominal ACTIV Card:

Upon first issuance, this type of card is obtained free of charge, based on the identity document, only from the Card Issuance and Reload Centers within the STB SA network. It can be loaded with one or more travel tickets from the corresponding fare offer, with a minimum value of 15 RON.

Reloading the travel tickets can be done at any of the STB SA sales units or through the online reload website (https://online.stbsa.ro/). An exception applies to subscriptions with discounts, which can only be reloaded at the Card Issuance and Reload Centers.

The nominal card is not transferable. In case of loss or damage, the remaining unused balance can be transferred to a new medium. The price of a nominal ACTIV card is 4.7 RON.
