The ACTIV Card is an electronic medium that can be loaded with one or more transport passes, depending on the fare options and travel needs.

The Nominal ACTIV Card:

Upon its first issuance, this type of card is provided free of charge based on the holder’s ID and is available only at the Card Issuance and Reload Centers within the STB SA network. It can be loaded with one or more transport passes from the available fare options, with a minimum value of 15 RON.

Transport passes can be reloaded at any STB SA sales unit or through the online reloading website (https://online.stbsa.ro/). Exceptions are subscriptions that qualify for discounts, which can only be reloaded at the Card Issuance and Reload Centers.

The nominal card is non-transferable. In case of loss or damage, the unused balance can be transferred to a new card. The cost of a nominal ACTIV card is 4.7 RON.

It cannot be reloaded online.

The MULTIPLU Card is designed to meet the needs of occasional travelers.

It can be purchased from any sales point in the STB network for a price of 1.6 RON and can be loaded with up to 10 trips of the same category (urban, regional, or express) or with a one-day subscription for urban lines.

The card is non-nominal, transferable, and cannot be reloaded.
